Today officially marks the passing of summer as the school year begins for 2010/2011. Our kids this year will all be riding the bus because of school consolidations in our district related to the economy. This will also be our second year of our three kids all being at different schools. So ready or not today the adventure begins!

Small World
This past Friday night Syndie went to a small group training event at Life Church. There was a special guest speaker named, Bill Search. As it turns out, Bill and I both graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1994. He was the president of the student activities council our senior year. He had some great stuff to share on community and small groups.

Trip Down Memory Lane
It is hard to believe that 2009 is almost over. This year has just flown by for me!
This past Monday we had a chance to meet up with some college friends from Moody. Our friends, Rob and Cara Lane, were visiting from California. It was fun for both of our whole families to be together. Below are some pictures we took on campus.

First High School Home Coming
This past Friday and Saturday we had our first Home coming with Emily and the Wayne Memorial High School. The marching band did a good job at the football game but the Zebra’s go t crushed by the Canton Chiefs. We did not get toilet papered again so that is always a plus! Saturday, Emily got all dressed up and went to the dance, she looked very beautiful and way to grown up for my liking!
Below are a couple pictures we took before the dance.
