Thanks to the generosity of some friends who offered to watch our three kids. Syndie and I went out for dinner to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. We went to a place we had not been to before. It was called Ashley’s. They had some lovely outdoor seating so that we could enjoy the warm weather.

I have been thinking a lot this morning how lucky and blessed I am to have an incredible wife, friend, and companion in Syndie. She has helped me become the best version of myself and I am eternally grateful for that. The song clip below from Addison Road can say what I feel more poetically.

Today was a glorious Fall day in Michigan. Syndie and I made plans to walk around the grounds where she works after I got off of work. The weather was absolutely perfect. Lots of trees were showing off their Fall colors. It is always great to be able to spend time with Syndie and great to be outdoors and it is even better when I can combine the two!
